'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' goes out with a pair of Emmy wins

It was a tough year to play the late-night "farewell" card at the Emmys — but in the end, the most decorated of them all took home the trophy for Best Variety Talk Series.

Jon Stewart's Daily Show won the big prize for its 16th and final season, beating out fellow swan-songers The Colbert Report and Late Show with David Letterman (which, despite its punk-rock finale, was lucky just to be nominated after coasting for its final few seasons).
