Amy Heckerling, the writer behind Clueless, confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that a Clueless musical was in the works
“I’ve written what they call 'the book,' and it’s a jukebox musical," Heckerling said in the interview. Which means that all of the songs will be comprised of popular hits, as opposed to original numbers
So, "Kids in America" and "Rollin With The Homies" could definitely be gracing a Broadway stage sometime in the near future
